Six Piece to be at "ACCV Board and Others"
Six paintings including the new work, "Orange," will be on exhibit at the "Arts Council of the Conejo Valley (ACCV) Board and Others" group show at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts, 403 West Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks. This will be the first public showing of Orange. A delicious reception will be held on June 21, 4-6PM. ACCV is the primary arts advocacy organization for the cities of Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village and surrounding communities. The gallery is open 9AM to 5PM M-F. The show runs June 1 through June 30.

The beautiful light in our kitchen inspired me again. I love the sensuous curve of the peel, translucencs of the fruit and the light glowing from the pith. I used a combination of transparent glazes and opaque impasto creating a texture and depth that can only be apreciated in person.
